No Maran role in Aircel deal, CBI tells apex court

Soon after landing at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, it skidded off the rapid exit taxiway N8 and got stuck in the mud there," the official told IANS.The incident happened after the scheduled flight landedaround 4.13 a.m. Friday, according to the official.As a result of the incident, the main runway has been closed for operations since the past nearly four hours till the aircraft is removed.Efforts are currently underway to remove the aircraft and clear the runway for normal operations, the official added.
