Justice Khehar’s swearing-in ceremony at the Supreme Court is scheduled for September 13. The High Court here is gearing up for his send-off.Justice Khehar, who became the Chief Justice of the Karnataka High Court in August 2010, was appointed a Su­p­reme Court judge after an apex court collegium headed by Chief Justice of India S H Kapadia cleared his name for elevation last month.Justice Sen, who will be sworn in as a senior judge of the Karnataka High Court, will serve as the acting chiefjustice until a successor to Justice Khehar is appointed.Born on December 31, 1950, Justice Sen has practised in all courts in Delhi. He has handled civil, arbitration and commercial disputes and has a special interest in minority rights.
